Dear Mr. Wingert:
The enclosed map shows you our entire family farm on the Klamath River one mile south of the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Highway 96. This farm was built in the early 1900 It and the family lifestyle has been chronicled in a series of children's books which take place on the farm called Wilmar Oaks which lies beneath the love and magic of the rainbow's end. These books are the true experiences of my family as we moved here to build my childhood dream of owning a "New England Farm".
A New England Farm in the old fashioned concept is quite unique. There you raise a little of everything and sell the surplus. For 22 years this farm has raised our fruits, vegetables and meats. It has had a commercial Chestnut crop which has been sold along with the selling of the surplus of, fruits, vegetables, lambs, pig, chicken, eggs and rabbits. We farm organically so no pesticides or chemicals have ever been used.
The farm and rental income pays it's maintenance, taxes and insurance. The life style is one that teaches character, self reliance, individual responsibility, initiative and independence, all qualities trying to be stifled in present day education and government.
However these qualities are essential for a free society.
Your purposed regulation and description are so offensive to the sensibility of man that one gets physically ill when the impact on OUR lives sets in. I have heard it said, "you really don't have to worry it is just a designation, we aren't going to move you off your land". If you think that, you are a stupid and ignorant! Why implement a regulation that will never be enforced? After the regulations are in place, one persons will file a suit against your agency for not enforcing this regulation to preserve this and other endangered species. Instantaneously and overnight the entire Biological Diversity , Wildlands Project, United Nations/United States Heritage Programs and NAFTA 21 side bar agreement out of La Paz Mexico is IMPLEMENTED! You and other agencies like yours are being used sir! For the confiscation of private land, constitutional rights but most importantly, the stealing of the sovereignty of our NATION.
Cease and desist any further action on this hideous regulation!.
