Nancy E. Gregg Ladies and Gentlemen of the Media, Two weeks ago I sent to you a packet concerning the National Marine Fisheries Service and their Regulation as posted in the Federal Register: November 25, 1997, Vol. 62, Number 227 pages 62741 - 62751. Some of you followed through and called them to directly inquired on the validity of my allegations. They have now offered a 'deal' to withdraw the 300 foot designation. I personally do not want any regulations of the Klamath River by the National Marine Fisheries Service. There are all ready six different agencies that tell me what I can an can not do on my land. Why do we need another one? Another Regulation? We need them to drop the Regulation entirely. Please help me, save the farm. (County Planning Department told me there were 126 different agencies that govern our land.) On April 6th, NAO52 News feed stated that six major rivers were being put
into the Heritage Foundation or under an Endangered Specie Act. Forgive me
for not having the specifics. These rivers were: parts of the Columbia, the Missouri
River, (all states), the Kern River in California, the Blackfoot in
Montana and the Polomoke River. Remember the packet that had the Biodiversity Map which I enclosed? It is with this organizations cooperation that this map will be completed. I believe it can only be done by a President that gives away Public Land by Executive Order. Please look into this as I believe both the National Marine Fisheries Service Regulation and these western Rivers are to accomplish the implementation of this United Nations Biodiversity Convention Mandate. How much of the United States of America are you willing to have signed away? Sincerely, Nancy E. Gregg Enclosure |
